Blockchain ecosystems are becoming increasingly connected, but moving assets between networks can still be one of the more complicated parts of using Web3.
Users often have to navigate different bridges, wallets, interfaces, and protocols depending on where their assets are and where they want them to go.
LumosCore is simplifying that experience.
With Circle CCTP, LayerZero, and NEAR Intents integrated into LumosCore, users can access cross-chain swaps across 52 supported networks through one interface.
More importantly, LumosCore isn't simply adding another bridge to the ecosystem. It brings multiple cross-chain providers together alongside trading, liquidity, and other Web3 infrastructure — making it easier for users to move between blockchain ecosystems without constantly switching platforms.
Why Cross-Chain Matters as Stellar Grows
Stellar is entering a period of increased on-chain activity.
It has reached $4 billion, while stablecoin transfer volume reached an all-time high of $11.4 billion during Q2. Stellar also reported more than 10.7 million active accounts.
These numbers show an ecosystem attracting more assets, developers, users, and financial activity.
As ecosystems like Stellar grow, interoperability becomes increasingly important.
Users shouldn't necessarily be limited by the network where they currently hold an asset. They may want to access liquidity, assets, or opportunities available elsewhere without going through multiple platforms and complicated bridging processes.
Cross-chain infrastructure helps make that possible.
LumosCore connects this growing Stellar ecosystem with a much broader multichain environment, allowing supported Curated Assets to access cross-chain swaps across available routes.
Cross-Chain Swaps Across 52 Networks on LumosCore
LumosCore brings multiple cross-chain protocols into a single platform.
Instead of searching for a different bridge every time they want to reach another network, users can begin from the LumosCore Bridge, select their assets and destination, and view the available cross-chain route.
LumosCore currently integrates:
- Circle CCTP
- LayerZero
- NEAR Intents
Together, these integrations extend LumosCore's cross-chain connectivity across 52 networks.
The exact route available depends on the selected assets and networks, but the experience remains within the same LumosCore interface.
For users, the idea is simple:
Choose what you have → select what you want → choose the destination network → complete the swap.
The complexity of connecting different blockchain ecosystems increasingly happens behind the interface.
1. Circle CCTP
Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol, or CCTP, is one of the cross-chain technologies integrated into LumosCore. It uses a burn-and-mint process for native USDC transfers.
USDC is burned on the source network, and an equivalent amount is minted on the destination network. The transfer is completed through a claim step on the destination side.
On LumosCore, users don't need to interact directly with the underlying protocol.
They can select a supported Curated Asset, choose the destination asset and network, and use an available CCTP route directly through the LumosCore interface.
Average transfer time: approximately five seconds.
This allows CCTP to become part of a broader trading experience rather than a completely separate bridge users need to discover and navigate independently.
2. LayerZero
LayerZero adds another cross-chain route to LumosCore.
This integration uses USDT0 for cross-chain swaps. Users confirm the transaction on the source network, and the destination transaction is completed automatically.
There is no separate claim step required from the user after the source transaction has been confirmed.
Estimated completion time: approximately 25–30 minutes.
This is part of the broader goal: make cross-chain execution feel increasingly like a normal swap rather than a completely separate Web3 process.
3. NEAR Intents: Intent-Based Cross-Chain Execution
The third cross-chain integration is NEAR Intents.
Intent-based infrastructure approaches cross-chain execution from a slightly different direction. Instead of asking users to manually coordinate every underlying action, the user specifies the outcome they want to achieve.
For example, a user can start with an eligible asset on Stellar, select an asset on another supported network, and complete the transaction through an available NEAR Intents route.
The infrastructure handles much of the complexity behind the scenes. No separate destination claim is required.
Average completion time: approximately 30 seconds.
For LumosCore, this fits naturally with the goal of making multichain trading simpler.
Users shouldn't have to become experts in every bridge or interoperability protocol before they can move value between blockchain ecosystems.
Swap Curated Assets Across Networks
Cross-chain connectivity becomes much more useful when users aren't restricted to starting with only one specific asset.
On LumosCore, Curated Assets can access supported cross-chain swap routes through CCTP, LayerZero, and NEAR Intents, depending on route availability.
Curated Assets are manually reviewed by LumosCore and marked with a green verification check, helping users distinguish reviewed assets from other tokens with similar names or symbols.
For projects, becoming Curated also opens another important opportunity: cross-chain accessibility.
Instead of an asset being useful only within its original ecosystem, supported cross-chain routes can connect it with assets and liquidity available across other networks.
Projects interested in this can learn more through the LumosCore Curated Listing documentation or apply to get their token Curated.
Why Multiple Cross-Chain Routes Matter
Cross-chain infrastructure is still fragmented.
Different protocols support different networks, assets, liquidity sources, and execution methods. Relying on a single provider can therefore limit where users can go.
LumosCore's approach is to bring multiple routes together.
CCTP, LayerZero, and NEAR Intents each expand the available connectivity in different ways. Combined, they allow LumosCore to provide access across 52 networks while maintaining a consistent user experience.
This also means LumosCore can continue adding networks and routes without forcing users to learn an entirely new interface each time.
The destination changes.
The underlying route may change.
But the starting point remains LumosCore.
From Token Swaps to Multichain Trading Infrastructure
Cross-chain connectivity also changes what a decentralized trading platform can become.
Traditionally, a DEX answers a relatively simple question:
What can I trade on this blockchain?
Cross-chain infrastructure introduces a broader one:
What can I trade from this blockchain?
As assets and liquidity become increasingly connected across networks, the distinction between where an asset exists and where it can be traded could gradually become less important.
DEXs can evolve from simple token-swapping interfaces into broader trading infrastructure connecting assets, liquidity, users, and networks.
This is the larger direction behind LumosCore.
Rather than building isolated products, LumosCore brings together DEX trading, liquidity pools, cross-chain swaps, a token Launchpad, and non-custodial Web3 infrastructure within one platform.
Users can explore the wider ecosystem through LumosCore.
