LumosCore is a non-custodial interface to the Stellar network. We do not hold your funds, we do not hold your keys, and there is no account to create. This page explains exactly what happens to information when you use the site.
01We do not use cookies
LumosCore sets no cookies of any kind, for any purpose. There is no advertising network, no cross-site tracker and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
02There is no account, and no personal information
We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or identity documents to use the platform. You connect a wallet you already control and that is the whole of it. We cannot see your private keys, your seed phrase or your recovery details — those never leave your wallet.
03What we do record
When you connect a wallet, the site sends your public wallet address to our own server once per browsing session, so we can count how many people use the platform. That address is already public on the Stellar network, and we do not attach a name, email or profile to it.
When you submit a transaction through the site, we record its transaction hash and the address that submitted it, so the platform can show its own recent activity. Both are already public on the Stellar network. Nothing is recorded for a transaction you do not submit.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs and aggregate analytics for security and performance. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
We also count page views ourselves, to see how the site is used: for each page you open, the page, the website you came from, your device type (desktop, mobile or tablet), and the approximate city and country Cloudflare associates with your connection. A random identifier that your browser keeps only for the current browsing session links the pages of one visit together. We do not store your IP address, your browser details or your wallet address with it, and these records are deleted after 180 days.
When you connect a wallet, we record the wallet address together with the country Cloudflare associates with your connection, so we can see roughly where LumosCore is used. We keep only the most recent one — it is overwritten each time you connect, so it is not a history of where you have been — and we do not keep the city or region with it, or link it to the page-view record described above.
Within that same record we also note which links and buttons you press — the words shown on them, such as “Confirm swap”, and the website a link leads to when it takes you off LumosCore. We do not record anything you type: not amounts, not addresses, not search boxes, not any field on any form.
04What your own browser stores
The site keeps a small amount of information in your browser so it can work properly between visits: which wallet you connected, your theme and language, the currency you chose to price things in, and any bridge transfer you have started but not yet claimed. This never leaves your device unless you are sending a transaction that needs it, and clearing your browser data removes all of it.
One thing to know: a bridge transfer you have burned but not yet redeemed is recorded there, and clearing your browser data removes that record. The transfer itself is not affected and your USDC is not at risk — keep the transaction hash shown on the transfer, which is all Circle needs to rebuild the claim, and you can finish it from any browser.
05Services your browser contacts directly
To show live prices, balances and charts, your browser talks straight to public services rather than routing through us — the Stellar network, block explorers, price feeds, the RPC endpoint of whichever chain you are bridging to, and Circle’s attestation service. Those services can see your IP address and what you requested, under their own privacy policies rather than ours. We do not send them your wallet address.
06If you contact support
When you use the support form we receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to include in it. We use it to answer you and we keep the correspondence so we can follow up.
Never send us your seed phrase or private keys. We will never ask for them, and anyone who does is trying to steal from you.
07Your choices
- Disconnect your wallet at any time; nothing further is recorded.
- Clear your browser data to remove everything stored on your device.
