How to Get Your Token Curated on LumosCore

Launching a token is only the beginning. As more assets enter the Stellar ecosystem, helping users identify authentic projects becomes increasingly important.

LumosCore's Curated Assets system gives eligible tokens additional visibility across the platform after a manual review.

A curated token can appear in LumosCore's asset lists and discovery surfaces with its project description and logo. Unlike an automated listing process, every curation application is reviewed by a person.

If you've launched a token on Stellar and want to get it curated on LumosCore, here's how the process works.

What Is a Curated Token on LumosCore?

Curation is designed to help establish that an asset is what it claims to be.

During the review, LumosCore checks information including the issuer, asset code, metadata, liquidity, project presence and whether the asset could be confused with an established token.

Once approved, the asset receives LumosCore's verification mark and becomes part of the manually curated asset set.

It's important to understand that curation isn't an investment recommendation or an assessment of a token's future value. It verifies identity and basic project information rather than judging whether users should buy the asset.

What Do You Need Before Applying?

Getting the basics right before submitting your application makes the process much easier.

LumosCore currently looks for four main things:

  1. Asset verification: Your domain handshake should already resolve. This provides a baseline connection between the asset and its project.
  2. Metadata: Your stellar.toml should contain accurate project information, a meaningful description and a usable logo.
  3. Liquidity: Your token should have enough liquidity for users to realistically trade it without extreme price impact.
  4. Public project presence: There should be somewhere independent of LumosCore where users can learn about the project—such as your website, documentation or other public project information.

Your website and social profiles are also useful. The application allows you to provide your website, X, Telegram and Discord. These links are optional, but having a clear public presence makes it easier to establish that the project is genuine and active.

How to Apply for a Curated Listing

The application itself is straightforward.

Go to:

Apply to List Your Token on LumosCore

You'll need to provide your network, asset code, issuing account, project description and logo, along with any relevant website and social links.

The curated listing costs $250, paid in XLM at the live rate.

Connect your wallet and approve the payment. LumosCore verifies the transaction on-chain before accepting the application.

From there, the LumosCore team manually reviews the application and responds by email.

Once approved, your curated listing goes live.

What Happens If Your Application Is Declined?

This is one of the important parts of the program:

If your application is declined, the $250 listing fee is refunded in full in XLM to the account that paid it.

In other words, you pay the listing fee only if your asset is successfully curated.

LumosCore also provides a reason for the decline. Common issues can be fixable—for example, missing verification, insufficient liquidity or inadequate project information.

Once the problem has been addressed, you're welcome to apply again.

Is Curation Permanent?

Not necessarily.

A curated asset needs to continue meeting LumosCore's standards. If liquidity disappears, project metadata becomes misleading, or important verification information is no longer valid, the asset can lose its curated status.

This helps keep curation relevant to the current state of the asset, rather than simply reflecting what was true when it originally applied.
